The Migraine Coach

About me

I used to be a Senior Policy Advisor to the UK government, negotiating International trade deals with the Department of International Trade. From my experience securing first-class international Free Trade Agreements, I learnt to crunch swathes of information and spot the more subtle connections in evidence with which I was presented. Little did I know this was going to be the skill that saved me from years of debilitating chronic migraine (how I was able to sustain such a career with chronic migraine I do not know – we migraine sufferers are warriors!).

I had chronic migraines for several years, and at their worst I was in bed with one every other day at a 9/10 pain level. I was miserable and imprisoned by my own body.

After years of dedicated research into the field of migraines with the little spare energy I had, and hours of work with top-class physicians and practitioners in London, I learnt how to identify the underlying causes of migraines naturally (once you’re under my wing there will be no more wasting your time with medication that probably won’t work and just ruins your gut!).

With a lot of trial and error over the years, I finally learnt how to reduce the frequency and severity of my migraines.

I went from 15+ migraines per month to just a handful of headaches. I still sometimes get neck pain that can refer to my eye, but now that I understand the body in-depth, I know this is from poor shoulder mechanics; and as I fix my muscular imbalance, that pain is receding too. I am a living testament to the fact that the more you understand about your body, the less pain you will have.

Besides this, I now live a joyfully pain-free life without limitations. No more brain fog, days with the curtains shut, or anxiety about then the next bout of pain will ruin my plans.

In a way I am lucky that my migraines were so bad – I learnt I had multiple things causing my migraines – because I’ve really been able to understand the breadth of migraine causes. I think it’s this that has given me such success in helping people overcome their migraines where neurologists etc have been limited in their ability to help.

Once I discovered I had the gift of teaching people how to overcome their migraines, I could no longer wholeheartedly do my government policy work knowing I could be of such service to migraine sufferers.

I now know from my own experience that migraines aren’t something you just have to “manage” forever. They’re a sign that something deeper is out of balance in the body. That’s why I use my Root Cause Method: a personalised approach that goes beyond simply avoiding triggers or trialling yet another medication in blind faith.

Together, we explore what’s really going on for you, whether it’s hormonal fluctuations, gut health, emotional stress, or nutrition. My goal is to address the underlying imbalances so your migraines become less frequent, less intense, and, ideally, stop controlling your life. For me, migraine recovery isn’t about short-term fixes – it’s about creating lasting freedom, and getting you back to living your version of a ‘normal’ life again.

My ability to help people heal their migraines comes from living and breathing this work – first as a patient, then as a practitioner. I spent over a decade trapped in chronic pain, so I understand every layer of migraine intimately – the fear, the exhaustion, the constant search for answers. That lived experience, combined with years of studying the body’s systems in depth, means I can see patterns neurologists often miss. Most have never personally experienced migraines, and their training is focused on the brain alone. I look at the full picture – hormones, gut, stress, emotions, and lifestyle – and how those systems interact. That’s what makes my approach different: I don’t just manage migraines, I understand them inside out.

In order to deliver my knowledge to the highest standard and in a secure setting, I am a fully-qualified life coach, certified by the board Achology. My training is accredited by the CPD Standards Office.

When deeper investigation is needed, I have an in-house team of trusted and highly qualified practitioners who can help us streamline testing and treatment. Where scientific evidence or medical collaboration will accelerate your progress, I’ll connect you with the top consultants in their fields or coordinate relevant testing. And if you’re working with private health insurance, we’ll build a clear strategy to help you access the best possible care within your policy.

Consultants I have previously worked with include, but are not limited to: neurologists, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, psychologists, and alternative health practitioners such as dieticians, osteopaths, chiropractors, and acupuncturists

Migraines are complex and affect all aspects of your life.
But I believe that everyone deserves to live free from pain and limitation and I am dedicated to realising this existence for as many people as possible.

I will not give up on your freedom even if you have given up on this yourself.
